Are your services for Athletes only?

Everyone is an Athlete. At Motus Life we want to help you move and feel better irrespective of whether you play sport or not. Motus Life is for everyone. From the Elite Athlete to the Dog Walker and everyone in between. 

What is Osteopathy?

Osteopaths focus on your neuro-musculoskeletal system - the bones, muscles, nerves and other tissues that support your body and control its movements. Osteopaths provide musculoskeletal and nervous system assessments, manual therapy; clinical exercise programs; and movement, postural, positioning advice and ergonomic assessments. They may also offer therapeutic needling techniques like dry needling, trigger point therapy or acupuncture. Your osteopath may also offer ongoing support and educational advice about your lifestyle, stress management, diet or other factors that may influence your pain, injury or movement.

What is Exercise Physiology?

Accredited exercise physiologists specialise in clinical exercise interventions for people with a broad range of health issues. The aims of exercise physiology interventions are to prevent or manage acute, sub- acute or chronic disease or injury, and assist in restoring one’s optimal physical function, health or wellness. These interventions are exercise-based and include health and physical activity education, advice and support and lifestyle modification with a strong focus on achieving behavioural change.

How long does my Osteopathy appointment go for?

At Motus Life we allow 60mins for your Initial Consultation with all modalities and practitioners, and 30mins for a return consult.

How long does my Exercise Physiology appointment go for?

At Motus Life we allow 60mins for your Initial Consultation with all modalities and practitioners, and 30mins for a return consult. Our Exercise Physiologists also offer 45min appointments. 

Can I use my private health insurance?

Yes! Most private health funds can be processed through the terminal at the time of paying for your appointment. If your health fund is not supported, we can provide an invoice for you to claim directly wiht your insurer. 

Do you offer TAC/WorkCover/DVA appointments?

Yes to all of the above!

Do you accept CDM plans from my GP?

Yes we do! You can use your CDM plan for our allied health services, to subsidise the cost of your appointment. If you are a concession card holder, we don't charge a gap. 


How many people will there be in my Group Strength & Conditioning Class?

There's maximum 6 people per group, with a new group starting every 20mins

What kind of Yoga Classes are there?

We currently offer Slow Flow, Vinyasa and Yin Classes

How soon before my yoga/pilates/meditation class can I book online?

To allow our Teachers adequate time to prepare, you must book minimum 60mins in advance.
