Crab Walk

Osteopath and Strength & Conditioning Coach Michelle Andrews demonstrates a Crab walk using various resistance bands that you might have access to at home.

Crab walks are great for getting your lateral hip muscles fired up and building stronger glutes.

Lateral hip stability is vital for everyone. What we like to remind people that even when we're walking, we're transferring our weight from one leg to the other, not having an even amount through both. This requires an adequate amount of strength and stability through our body to "self organise" in a balanced position on one leg, something that our glute med has a big impact on!
